Nadia Yassine Visiting the US for a Book Tour

(New Britain, PA, 4/3/06) - Madame Nadia Yassine [www.nadiayassine.net] visits the USA from April 3 to April 22 to present her new book Full Sails Ahead recently published by Justice and Spirituality Publishing [www.jspublishing.net].

The book tour is planned in collaboration with the following universities:

- Dartmouth College; the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding; April 6th

- Harvard University; the Islamic Legal Studies Program at Harvard Law School and the Moroccan Program at the Center for Middle East Studies; April 14th

- Fordham University; Middle East Studies Program; April 18th

- Georgetown University; Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding; April 20th

Nadia Yassine is a prominent figure of Islamic renascence not only in her native Morocco, but internationally as well. She has explained the views of the movement Jam?'at al-'Adl wa'l-Ihs?n (Justice and Spirituality Association) regarding Moroccan issues and matters of concern to the Muslim world.

Lecturer and author of numerous articles, she has given interviews that appeared in such newspapers as Le Monde, El Pais, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Der Spiegel, Le Journal Hebdomadaire, The Times (London), US News, and World Report. She has also given interviews to radio and television stations internationally, including ARTE, France 3, France 5, BBC, Al-Jazeera, Radio Orient, and Radio Canada.

Justice and Spirituality Publishing is a not-for-profit corporation which aims at publishing Islamic books, organizing conferences, promoting dialogue, and building bridges with non-Muslims. Madame Nadia Yassine's reputation as an expert in building Islam-West links can help serve this aim. In her new book she invites Westerners to set out on a voyage aboard a fictional boat towards Islam as originally revealed.
